Our travel protection plans are available for all Malaysians, permanent residents of Malaysia, work permit holders, long-term social visit pass holders, and student pass holders who reside in Malaysia.

While all three may have benefits that cover mishaps that happen abroad, the intended purpose of these policies is very different. Basically, travel insurance is meant to be a short-term cover that protects you from travel disruptions such as medical emergencies during your trip, lost luggage and delayed flights. Personal accident insurance provides coverage for accidents and medical expenses resulting from these accidents. Medical insurance is mainly a long-term protection plan that covers medical expenses and treatment for illnesses up to your golden years.

As much as our plans provide comprehensive benefits to keep you and your travel companions safe, there are certain incidents our travel protection does not cover such as pre-existing health conditions, illnesses and injuries/conditions sustained prior to purchase of policy, activities such as motor racing or skydiving, and unpredictable events such as war. Yes, our plans provide coverage for travel throughout multiple countries around the world, which are grouped into different areas depending on the chosen policy. During the purchase process, you only need to select one destination. For specific areas, please refer to the individual policy for more details.

Unfortunately you cannot extend your period of coverage so it’s recommended that you plan your travels carefully.

The Family Plan covers you, your legal spouse and any number of your accompanying child(ren).

If you’re a frequent traveller or planning to make multiple trips in a year, it’s more convenient as you don’t need to remember to purchase insurance for every trip. Additionally, purchasing annual coverage can be more cost-effective.

No, you are only allowed to purchase ONE policy for each trip.

No, refund of premium is not allowed once the insurance policy / certificate of insurance has been issued.
