Ready Set Jom Lucky Draw Campaign

Terms and Conditions

1. Ready Set Jom Lucky Draw (“Campaign”) is organised by AmGeneral Insurance Berhad (“AmGeneral”).

2. The Campaign shall commence from 21 December 2021 to 21 January 2022, both dates inclusive unless notified otherwise (“Campaign Period”). AmGeneral reserves the right to end the Campaign any time earlier at its own discretion.



3. The Campaign is open to all new and existing customers who purchase any AmGeneral Insurance product from AmGeneral or through any of AmGeneral authorised intermediaries.

4. All policies purchased within the Campaign Period will automatically be eligible for entry into the lucky draw subject to a minimum premium of RM200 to participate in the Campaign.

5. This Campaign applies to all policies (new applications or renewals) accepted by AmGeneral. Only policies with its Insurance premium fully paid during the Campaign Period shall be eligible for entry into the draw. AmGeneral shall not accept any policies under this Campaign after the Campaign Period has ended.

6. Any co-insurance policies issued under the Central Administration Bureau, re-insurance policies and open cover Marine policies shall be excluded from this Campaign.

7. AmBank Group and AmGeneral employees are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.


Selection of Winners

8. Winners will be chosen through random draws from a pool of total eligible entries.

9. There will be weekly selection of winners based on the policies received for four (4) consecutive weeks and an overall Grand Prize selection after the Campaign Period.

10. Each policy entitles the policyholder to one (1) entry in the Campaign. Once a policy has won a prize, it will no longer be eligible for being part of subsequent draws.

11. The Winners will be announced and published on the Kurnia Insurans Facebook page.

12. The selected winners will also be contacted by AmGeneral Contact Centre’s Service Academy and Admin team based on the contact information supplied during policy submission process. In the event AmGeneral is unable to contact the selected Winners after three (3) attempts (i.e. no reply, telephone number not in service), AmGeneral reserves the right to select from the pool of total eligible entries following the same process. AmGeneral will not be held liable in the event the Shortlisted Winners are not reachable for whatever reasons.

14. AmGeneral reserves the rights to substitute any prize with another prize of similar value without prior notice. All winners are not allowed to exchange the prizes for cash.

15. The conditions of the Campaign Prizes are subject to the respective Resort/Hotel terms and conditions. The hotel package does not include any domestic travel cost to the location.

16. Choice of colour of the Prize items is subject to availability.

17. Prizes awarded to the selected winners cannot be exchanged for any other prizes given out during the Campaign Period, or be transferred to another customer.

18. The e-vouchers will be delivered to the winners in the form of SMS or to their email address registered with AmGeneral during the purchase of insurance products. The vouchers will be sent within two (2) months of full document submission, subject to verification of customer information received.

19. AmGeneral is not responsible for the activation of the vouchers once it has been disbursed to the eligible customers.

20. AmGeneral is not in any way endorsing, sanctioning, approving, or supporting the brand(s) or merchandise of the vouchers. Any query and/or dispute on the usage of the voucher must be directed to and resolved directly with respective vendor.

21. Venue and time of the prize giving will be announced from time to time.

22. AmGeneral reserves the rights to postpone the pre-determined date and venue of the prize giving ceremony to a later date, which shall be notified by AmGeneral to the Winners in case of any unforeseen circumstance.


Other General Conditions

23. The policyholder is responsible for ensuring that they have provided accurate information of their mobile phone number and/or email address to receive the voucher. Should the policyholder decide to provide a third party’s phone number and/or email address, AmGeneral will not be liable for the receipt of voucher via the third party.

24. AmGeneral reserves the right to vary the prizes as well as the terms and conditions of this Campaign without any prior notice. AmGeneral may withdraw or discontinue the Campaign at any time without giving prior notice and without incurring any liability.

25. AmGeneral reserves the right (at its own discretion) to disqualify any participant and/or withhold or confiscate the prizes if the policy is found to be cancelled prior to the Campaign prize giving date. AmGeneral reserves the right to re-select another winner from the pool of total eligible entries following the same process.

26. AmGeneral’s determination of all matters relating to this Campaign shall be final and conclusive and in the event of any inconsistency between these Campaign Terms and Conditions and/or any marketing or promotional materials related to this Campaign, these Campaign Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

27. AmGeneral would like to alert the participants to take reasonable precautions when receiving any phone calls and messages requesting for your personal information during and/or after the Campaign. AmGeneral would also like to advise our valued participants to call our Customer Centre for verification regarding the Campaign.

28. By participating in this Campaign, you hereby give consent for your personal data and/or information to be processed in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”) 2010. Please refer to our full Privacy Notice on or for further information.
